Come on California, let's get this major carbon removal law passed in 2024!

Right now OpenAir members all over California are advocating for the world’s most exciting, science-aligned and ambitious carbon removal support legislation. The Carbon Dioxide Removal Market Development Act (SB 308) has already passed in the state senate, and now we need to repeat our success in the state assembly this spring. We have two months to make this happen before the legislative session ends.

SB 308 WILL NOT PASS WITHOUT CITIZEN ACTIVISM. SO WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN.

One of the most impactful ways to influence SB 308’s success is to join other residents in your district for a short zoom meeting with your assemblymember, to explain the bill and why they should support it.
