Call for Committee Members

We are looking to recruit members for newly formed committees. Please read on to find out more!

Our community is growing 

We’ll need more structure and governance to ensure that it continues to evolve, thrive and have impact.

We are seeking folks from diverse backgrounds and all around the globe to contribute expertise to address three critical areas:

• Community Support

  Develop and implement onboarding procedures that help new members find their place and passion within OAC and make sure our members - old and new - feel supported, empowered and heard.

  
  You are the one if you have experience in volunteer management, education, customer service, consultancy or love engaging with people.
   

• Communications

  We have so much to talk about, help us do it! We need new strategies to tell the world about carbon dioxide removal, debunk bad information and showcase the awesome work being done already. Work with us developing and implementing ways of reaching out as well as streamlining internal communication.

  
  You are the one if you have experience in journalism, marketing, public relations, or corporate communications.

• Platforms & Technology

  We are a virtual community and technology holds us together. Work with us to improve what we have and add new capabilities that support our growing community.

  
  You are the one if you have experience as software developer, coder, digital moderator, or web designer.

Being a committee member is a powerful way to help OpenAir grow, thrive and become the most impactful volunteer network possible.

Joining is a great way to build one’s own experience and engagement  in the carbon removal field, and will open up connections and learning opportunities for anyone interested in deepening their involvement in the sector, as a whole.
