Biochar & Soil Health: An Intro for Hudson Valley Farmers

Thursday, December 18, 2 pm EST

ABOUT THIS EVENT

What’s behind the buzz about biochar? This charcoal-like soil enhancement can improve water retention and soil health while providing long-term carbon storage.

In this informational webinar, you are invited to learn from local experts and practitioners about the benefits, economics, and methods of biochar application, with a specific focus on the Hudson Valley context.

The webinar will also mark the kickoff of the new Hudson Valley Biochar Pioneer Campaign, a 2025 grant program that will support biochar adoption and evaluation on up to ten farms in the Hudson Valley.
